Data Analyst (Tenerife)


As a Data Analyst at dyvenia, you will be in charge of building SQL and PowerBI data models to support key business decisions for the world’s biggest organizations. You will be responsible for small-medium scale Data Analytics projects, receive guidance and mentorship, all the while supporting and guiding our junior team members.

What will you do at dyvenia?

  • Work with the dyvenia team and business stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and kickstart new analytics initiatives
  • Build data models with SQL and automate them with Python. Have deep knowledge of all the datasets inside the data lake to be able to provide guidance to stakeholders
  • Apply the correct data models to the business problem at hand
  • Leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/ reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI

What will you need to be successful in the role?

We expect you to demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and have a keen interest in understanding various business domains. We will also need you to be able to communicate data concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Additional requirements:

  • You are fluent in English both orally and in writing
  • You have good presentation skills
  • You can communicate well within the team and with stakeholders
  • You can analyze business requirements in dialogue with internal stakeholders
  • You can collaborate directly with external consultants and vendors
  • You are a team player willing to share knowledge, ideas, and banter

We expect that you have experience with:

  • SQL advanced
  • Knowledge of any programming language like Python, R
  • Power BI or other dashboarding software

We will consider it an advantage if you also have familiarity with any of the following:

  • Microsoft Azure cloud computing
  • Git software versioning
